SAN DIEGO, Calif.- The University of San Diego men's soccer team had two players named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Far West Region team. Senior forward Stephen Posa earned second-team honors, while junior midfielder Dan Delgado was named to the third team.

Posa (San Diego, Calif.) scored a pair of goals this season and added three assists. He tallied an 88th-minute game-winner in USD's 2-1 victory over cross-town rival San Diego State on Sept. 4th. His 35 shots were also good for second on the team. Posa earned second-team All-West Coast Conference honors this season as well.

Delgado (Escondido, Calif.) took home WCC player of the year honors this season after recording two goals and leading the team in assists with five. His nine points all came in conference play and were the second-most on the team overall and led the squad in WCC action. He finished among the conference leaders in assists.

This was the first all-region recognition for either player. As a team, the Toreros finished the year 9-9-1 and tied for third in the WCC with a 6-5-1 conference mark.
