SAN DIEGO, Calif. -The University of San Diego women's soccer team (5-4-0) fell to San Diego State (2-4-2) Friday evening at the SDSU Sports Deck 3-0.

The Aztecs, who hadn't lost at home in the regular season since October of 2011, put pressure on the Toreros all evening. The Aztecs attempted 17 shots, with 11 being on target, while the Toreros had nine shot attempts, but only two were on frame.

The Aztecs took a 1-0 lead in to halftime behind Hannah Keane's 19th minute goal. Kelsey Booth assisted Keane with a through ball that Keane one-touched past a diving Michelle Craft.

Keane scored again in the 58th minute, this time scoring from the top of the box after an assist from Haley Locker. The Aztecs would strike again just two minutes later in the 60th minute when Carli Johnson headed in a Victoria Barba corner kick.

The Toreros Emily Dillon and Victoria Walker each had a shot on goal in the second half, but neither could find the back of the net.

Toreros goalkeeper Michelle Craft (5-4-0), who had eight saves, takes the loss. Aztecs goalkeeper Melanie Vaughn had two saves in her second shutout of the season.

The Toreros will look to get back in the win column on Sunday when they travel to Cal State Northridge for a 1:00 p.m. match. The Toreros defeated the Matadors earlier this month at home 3-1.
