SAN DIEGO, Calif. â€" The USD women's swim and dive team wrapped up the Purdue Invite Sunday afternoon, earning an eighth place finish.

The Toreros' day was highlighted by an 11th place finish by Jackie Taylor in the 100 free 51.51, earning USD six points. Danielle Taylor also earned points for USD with a time of 51.94, good for 14th place and three points.

Bri Jurries had a strong showing in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.34, finishing in first place in the "B Final." Her time met the NCAA B Standard and would have been good enough for third place if she qualified for the "A Final."

USD closed out the event with a season-best time in the 400 free relay. Danielle Deiparine, Bri Jurries, Danielle Taylor, and Jackie Taylor finished in 3:27.00 to finish in fourth place.
