SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. â€" Behind a career-high 24 kills from junior middle hitter Lisa Kramer, the University of San Diego women's volleyball team cruised its way to a 3-0 win over the University of San Francisco Saturday afternoon in a West Coast Conference match at War Memorial Gym.

With the 25-23, 25-18, 25-18 win, the Toreros improve to 8-5 overall, remain perfect in the WCC at 2-0, and have completed a rare Bay Area sweep. With the loss, the Dons fall to 13-2 overall and 0-2 in the WCC.

For a third consecutive week, Kramer set a new career-high in kills, this time with 24. Kramer hit for a .250 clip, and added in three digs and one block. Canace Finley was the only other Torero in double digit kills, as she had 10 on 14 attempts, while only committing two errors, to hit for a .571 clip. Kristen Gengenbacher recorded a career-high 48 assists, in helping steer the USD offense to a team attack percentage of .341. Hunter Jennings recorded 15 digs to help pace the defense, while Lizzy Tardieu recorded eight more digs.

As a team, USD recorded 8.0 blocks, while the home team only mustered up 5.0 blocks. The Toreros also held the Dons to just a .127 team attack percentage.

For the Dons, Katrina Pilpic led the way with 10 kills, while committing six errors on 27 swings to hit for a .148 clip. Kim Gutierrez led the defensive effort with six digs, and the setting duties were split between Kiara McKibbin (16 assists) and Jurja Vlasic (12 assists).

The Toreros will return to action on Tuesday, as they finally return to the friendly confines of the Jenny Craig Pavilion for a 6 p.m. WCC match against Pepperdine.
