San Diego has won eight of past nine matches

SAN DIEGO – San Diego concludes its regular season with three road matches beginning this weekend with a pair of contests at Pacific and Saint Mary's.
 
The Toreros (15-10, 12-3 WCC) open play on Thursday against the Tigers (12-14, 7-8 WCC) at 7 p.m. PT and finish the weekend at Saint Mary's (17-8, 9-6 WCC) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
Both matches will be streamed on theW.tv and live statistics will be available via USDToreros.com.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros won a pair of matches against San Francisco and Santa Clara during their final homestand of the season. USD has won eight of its past nine matches.
 
• Four Toreros posted double-doubles in San Diego's 3-1 victory over San Francisco on Thursday night.
 
• Roxie Wiblin tallied 15 kills and 14 digs to lead USD (14-10, 11-3 WCC) to the series sweep over USF (8-18, 1-14 WCC). The Toreros hit .245 to take down the Dons, 25-17, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-19.
 
• Kelli Barry was instrumental in the back row, finishing the night with 25 digs and 13 assists. Anna Newsome posted 22 assists and 17 digs, while Laura Madill added 20 assists and 11 digs.
 
• The Toreros spread around the wealth in the front row. Megan Jacobsen (12 kills), Cami May (11 kills) and Addie Picha (8 kills) dominated at the net. Picha added eight blocks and helped keep the Dons to a .042 hitting percentage.
 
• On a day dedicated to its seniors, San Diego was paced by Katie Lukes and Addie Picha in a 3-1 victory over Santa Clara.
 
•  Lukes registered a career-high 16 kills, 5 blocks and hit .273 while Picha added 10 kills and 4 blocks, hitting .360 as the Toreros (15-10, 12-3 WCC) outlasted Santa Clara, 25-20, 25-19, 18-25 and 25-19.
 
• Roxie Wiblin pitched in with nine kills and Anna Newsome and Laura Madill finished with 19 assists and 17 assists respectively. The Toreros hit .239 in the match compared to Santa Clara's .207.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PACIFIC
• The Toreros are 13-0 all-time against the Tigers, going 11-0 since Pacific joined the WCC in 2013. The Tigers have taken the Toreros to five sets in two of the past five matches but USD won the meeting earlier this season, 3-0.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SAINT MARY'S
• USD is 54-13 all-time against Saint Mary's but will be looking to avenge a 3-2 defeat suffered in the conference opener back in September. The Toreros have won six of the past seven matches and have swept five of the past six.
 
PICHA AMONG THE BEST IN THE NCAA AND WCC
• Addie Picha is ranked fourth in the country in hitting percentage (.427). She is 15th in blocks per set (1.46) and 21st in total blocks (133).
 
•  Picha leads all WCC players in hitting percentage (.427) and total blocks (133) and is second in blocks per set (1.46).
 
LEADING THE ATTACK
• Roxie Wiblin leads the team with 249 kills (2.74 per set). Addie Picha is second on the team with 203 kills (2.23 per set), followed by Lauren Fuller with 173 (2.51).
 
• Anna Newsome and Laura Madill have shared the responsibility at setter and pace the team with 572 and 413 assists, respectively.
 
PICHA AT THE NET
• Addie Picha has been stellar defensively and leads the Toreros with 133 blocks (1.46 per set). Picha has accounted for 67 percent of USD's blocks this season.
 
STRONG FIRST IMPRESSIONS
• The Toreros have gotten significant contributions from its freshman class this season. Kelli Barry has spent a majority of the time at libero and leads the team with 191 digs. Katie Lukes, Laura Madill and Annie Benbow have also contributed significant time in the lineup.
 
ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE
• Freshman Kelli Barry has played well at libero and leads the team with 291 digs (3.59 per set). Roxie Wiblin is second on the team with 190 digs (2.09 per set).
