SAN DIEGO – San Diego takes on San Francisco and Santa Clara during its final homestand of the season this weekend.

The Toreros (13-10, 10-3 WCC) open play on Thursday against the Dons (8-17, 1-13 WCC) at 7 p.m. PT before playing host to the Broncos (6-20, 1-13 WCC) at noon in their final home game of the season.

USD will honor its four seniors –
Addie Picha,
Lauren Fuller,
Kaity Edwards and
Allyson Eylers – prior to the match against Santa Clara.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros nearly took No. 1 BYU to five sets but were unable to finish the comeback and fell, 3-1.

• After dropping the first two sets, the Toreros became the first WCC team to win a set against the Cougars in Provo. USD maintained its momentum and nearly sent the match to a fifth set before BYU closed out the set on a 10-2 run.

• The Toreros played well but were undone by errors, making 33 on the night compared to 17 for BYU.

• The result spoiled an impressive night for multiple Toreros, including
Roxie Wiblin who registered a team-high 11 kills and
Katie Lukes who registered 10.
Addie Picha did it all for USD, recording seven kills, hitting .500 on the night, and racking up six blocks.

• The Toreros are 51-18 all-time against San Francisco and have won the past seven matches, and 15 of the past 17. USD has won 21 of the past 23 sets against the Dons.

• USD is 36-32 all-time against Santa Clara and have won each of the past seven meetings. The Toreros have won 15 consecutive sets against the Broncos entering Thursdays match.
