The Toreros made more outstanding defensive plays in the second game and got another strong outing from reigning WCC Pitcher of the Week, Hannah Boos.

Clare made a show-stopping defensive play of her own in the sixth inning at third base on a hard-hit grounder down the third-base line. Clare dove to her right and delivered a perfect throw across the diamond from her knees for the second out of the inning.
Hannah Gilliland also had a nice game defensively at shortstop and made multiple quality plays on tough hops.
Boos (9-3) registered her ninth victory of the season and fifth complete game. She held the Gaels scoreless, permitting just five hits and no walks with four strikeouts.
