SAN DIEGO - Head coach Jessica Pistole announced San Diego softball's 2020 slate on Monday. The schedule includes six tournaments in the California area, five West Coast Conference series and matchups against Olympic competition.

San Diego will open the 2020 season at the Stacey Winsberg Memorial Tournament hosted by UCLA on Feb. 7. This marks the first time in program history the Toreros will venture to Easton Stadium to begin the season.

For its third tournament of the 2020 season, USD will compete in the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs. The classic includes matchups with multiple 2019 Regional teams and the USA Olympic team, who is competing in the collegiate circuit in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

San Diego hosts PAC-12 opponent Utah for a double-header on February 24 before competing in the San Diego Classic hosted by SDSU. The USD Tournament returns to the USD Softball Complex on March 5 as the Toreros play host to CSUN, Villanova and Mt. St. Mary's through March 8.

USD is set to take on the Mexican National team on March 24 at SDSU for its second Olympic team matchup in 2020.
