Box Score 2 RIVERSIDE, Calif. – San Diego split a pair of one-run decisions, defeating Omaha but falling to Houston in extra innings on Saturday morning at UC Riverside.

Hayley Hensley hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead the Toreros (9-13) to a 2-1 comeback victory against Omaha (2-16).

USD held an early 5-0 lead against Houston but gave up a run in the fourth inning and four in the sixth, which sent the game to extra innings. Houston pushed across a run in the bottom half of the eighth to seal the 6-5 result.

Halle Kyler recorded her first complete game of the season in the circle for the Toreros against Omaha, permitting just one run on three hits and one walk with three strikeouts.

Sophia Bjerk led the offensive effort against Houston with a 2-for-4 showing with three RBIs and a home run.
