The WCC's shutout leader
Matt Wiher is closing in on USD's all-time top-10 for career shutouts. The redshirt sophomore currently has seven in his brief career, one away from tying Carlos Castellanos (1994-97) for 10th on the list. Wiher is already 10th in Torero history with 74 career saves.
BERRY GOOD
Miguel Berry, who leads WCC players in assists (3) and is second in goals (4) and points (11), is marching up USD's all-time lists as well. The senior enters the weekend seventh in USD history with 25 career goals, which is two away from tying Chugger Adair (1990-92) for sixth place. In addition to career goals, Berry is ninth in USD history for career points (61) and fourth in career goals (11).
LEADERS IN THE WCC
The Toreros have jumped out to their best start since 2002 by outscoring their opponents 10-2 in the four games so far. The last time USD score 10 goals in its first four games was 2006 (10; 3-1 record). The 10 goals are also the second-highest total by a WCC team in the first two weeks of the season (Saint Mary's, 12).
