SAN DIEGO -  San Diego women's tennis (3-2) picked up their second straight win with a dominating performance in a 7-0 victory versus UC San Diego (0-1) on Friday afternoon at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.

The Toreros got off to a hot start as Jordyn McBride and Abigail Desiatnikov picked up  a 6-1 win on court 3, followed quickly by a 6-1 win on court 1 by Solymar Colling and Elizabeth Goldsmith to clinch the double's point for San Diego. Kati Kukaras and Jessi Muljat also won their double's match 6-3. 

In singles play, Colling continued her strong play with a 6-1, 6-0 win to expand the Toreros lead to 2-0.  The lead was quickly extended to 3-0 when Desiatnikov won 6-1, 6-0 on court 4. 

The match was clinched by the freshmanMcBride, who won 6-0, 6-3 on court 3. 

San Diego completed singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win by Muljat, a 6-1, 6-2 win by Kukaras and a thrilling 7-6 (7-1), 6-4 win by Goldsmith. 

The Toreros will be back at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center next Friday, March 5, as they take on UC Irvine. The match is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. (PT) following the men's match at 10 a.m. (PT).
