The Toreros (11-3, 11-3 WCC) will wrap up the regular season against the Waves (13-2, 13-1 WCC) with both matches scheduled for 2 p.m. (PT). Saturday, USD will recognize seniors
Thana Fayad,
Cami May,
Hannah Patrick and
Roxie Wiblin.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros dropped two tough contests to No. 16 BYU, falling 3-1 on Wednesday in the JCP and 3-0 on Saturday in Provo, Utah.

Roxie Wiblin recorded 18 kills and 10 digs for her seventh double-double of the season, but USD fell 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 17-25 to the Cougars in the first of a home and home series.
Katie Lukes added 11 kills, but the Toreros were held to a .152 hitting percentage.
Annie Benbow collected 15 digs while
Gabby Goddard and
Grace Frohling each recorded four blocks.

• Wiblin led the way again for USD in the second match with 12 kills and six digs, while Lukes finished with seven kills and
Kylie Pries added five kills, seven digs. The Toreros were held to a .130 hitting percentage, falling 25-19, 25-21, 25-17. Benbow led the way defensively again with 10 digs and Isadora Terçariol collected 29 assists.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PEPPERDINE
• Friday will be the 74th meeting between the Toreros and the Waves. The Toreros trail the all-time series 32-41 and split the series last season. USD took the match at home 3-2 on Oct. 1, 2019 and fell in Malibu, 3-0 on Oct. 24, 2019 for its only conference loss of the season.

• The teams first met during the 1980 season and USD has won 13 of the last 16 matchups.

• San Diego came in at No. 21 in the AVCA Weekly Coaches' Poll for week nine for the second week in a row.
• WCC has three teams ranked in the top 25, with BYU (15), Pepperdine at (20) and San Diego (21).

• The Toreros have appeared in the national top-25 poll for 23 consecutive seasons, with 22 top-10 appearances. USD's highest ranking was No. 2 overall (Sept. 16, 2013).

• The NCAA selection show is scheduled for Sunday, April 4 with the tournament set to take place April 13-24 in Omaha, Neb. The spring 2021 tournament will feature a 48-team bracket instead of the traditional 64 teams, with 32 automatic qualifiers from conference championships and 16 at-large selections.

WIBLIN DOMINATES OUTSIDE

Roxie Wiblin came out of the gate swinging to begin her senior campaign. The 6-2 outside hitter has led the team in kills in 11 of USD's 14 matches, including matching her career-high 20 kills against Portland (Feb. 10).

• Wiblin leads the team with seven double-doubles so far this season and has double-digit kills in all but one of USD's matches.

• Wiblin is averaging 4.08 kills per set which ranks third in the WCC and 58th nationally.

DOMINATING DEFENSE
• The Toreros rank first in the WCC (74th nationally) in blocks per set with 2.27 and USD has held its opponents to a .180 hitting percentage which ranks second in the WCC.
