LOS ANGELES — San Diego track and field raced at Fullerton and in the Occidental Invitational on May 6 and 7, with eight Toreros setting personal bests and two USD runners setting a personal record.

Sophomore Sophia Green, freshman Madeleine Heller, sophomore Macey Holt, senior Ian Converse, senior Ethan Steiner, sophomore Will Stefanou, and freshman Jake Coleman all set personal bests at Jack Kemp Field on Saturday, with Converse and Steiner also setting USD records.

Green placed 20th in the Women's 1500M with a time of 4:50.60, and Heller and Holt were 25th and 42nd in the Women's 5km with times of 17:52.55 and 18:33.40.

Converse had his personal best and school record performance in the 1500 meter, finishing 17th with a time of 3:55.75.

Steiner paced the Toreros in the 5km with a time of 14:33.61 that placed him 15th and was good for his personal best and the school record, followed by Stefanou at 48th (15:14.44) and Coleman at 49th (15:15.29).

At Fullerton on Friday, freshman Arym Jaimes and freshman Maddie Holt notched personal best performances, placing 14th and 15th in the 800m Women and the 1500m Women with times of 2:29.07 and 5:17.61, respectively.
