SAN DIEGO – The San Diego softball program (12-18-1, 0-0 WCC) wraps up their lengthy homestand with a doubleheader, hosting St. Thomas (7-18, 0-0 Summit) for two games on Wednesday at 3 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., at the USD Softball Complex.

- The Toreros polished off a Saturday sweep of Colgate and South Dakota, winning 8-5 and 6-4 decisions, respectively. Â
- Joecellia Roberts tallied an inside the park grand slam for her second home run of the week, while Mikalyn Emanuelli finished with six hits across two games.
- The Toreros have matched their longest win streak of the season at three straight thanks to the doubleheader sweep.

- Izzy Owen continues to tear the cover off the ball in the month of March, hitting .489 with 11 RBI and six doubles this month and has led the Toreros to a 9-4-1 record during that span.
- Emanuelli is on an eight game on-base streak and a seven-game hit streak, which are both career highs. Emanuelli is hitting .667 over the seven-game hit streak.
