SAN DIEGO — After securing a dominant sweep of San Francisco over the weekend, San Diego baseball is set to close out a four-game homestand on Tuesday night with a midweek non-conference matchup against CSUN.

First pitch at Fowler Park is set for 6:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros earned three convincing wins over the Dons at Fowler Park this past weekend, beating USF by a massive 17-3 margin on Friday before taking home a wild, walk-off 6-5 win on Saturday and a 9-7 victory on Sunday.

ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS CSUN
• USD is 29-36-2 against the Matadors all-time, with the two programs' most recent meeting coming earlier this season on March 28, a tough 12-10 Torero loss at Matador Field.

• The defeat came despite San Diego scoring twice in both the top of the first and the top of the ninth inning.

• San Diego used six pitchers that afternoon, a group comprised of four freshmen, a sophomore, and a redshirt sophomore.

FOR STARTERS (PROBABLE)
• Freshman right-hander Peter Michael will make his 10th appearance of 2023 and his second career start on Tuesday night when he takes the mound for USD against the Matadors.

• The West Hills, California native most recently pitched last week at San Diego State, allowing one run on one hit (a solo homer) in a single inning of work in what marked his first college start.

• He is 0-1 with an 8.10 ERA in 6.2 total innings this season.

• The Toreros' walk-off win over San Francisco on Saturday was their fourth walk-off of 2023 and their 13th at Fowler Park since 2021 (USD achieved five walk-off victories in 2022 and four in 2021).
