CORVALLIS, Ore. — Winners of 12 straight matches and the recipient of a league-leading 13 West Coast Conference weekly awards in 2025, San Diego volleyball (19-4, 12-0 WCC) will head north this week to take on Oregon State (16-7, 10-3) and Portland (11-13, 6-7).
The first-place Toreros will take on the Beavers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday night and the Pilots at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+, and live statistics will be available on StatBroadcast.
TWELVE WINS IN A ROW
• San Diego's current 12-game win streak dates back to September 25, 2025, spanning 49 days and ten different opponents, all within West Coast Conference play.
• Washington State (October 16 and October 25), Loyola Marymount (September 27 and November 1) and Saint Mary's (October 2 and November 8) are the only teams that the Toreros have beaten twice during the streak thus far.
• It's USD's longest win streak since 2022, when the Toreros set a program record with 28 consecutive victories en-route to the NCAA National Semifinal, which marked the longest win streak in the country that year.
LAST TIME OUT: USD STAYS UNDEFEATED IN WCC PLAY WITH COMEBACK WIN OVER SAINT MARY'S
• The Toreros battled it out with Saint Mary's in five sets last Saturday (November 8) at the Jenny Craig Pavilion, beating the Gaels in Sets 2,4 and 5 with scores of 25-20, 27-25, and 15-5 to defend their winning streak.
STILL PERFECT
• USD (12-0) remains the only team still undefeated in WCC play. Pepperdine sits in second place with an 11-2 conference record, followed by Oregon State, which has a 10-3 mark in league play.
BIG NUMBERS FROM BEACH

Nemo Beach leads the WCC and ranks 30th nationally with 385 total kills in 2025. Her average of 4.05 kills per set ranks first in the WCC and 54th nationally.
MUNDAY SETS THE STANDARD
• Sophomore setter
Kylie Munday ranks second in the WCC and 45th nationally with 896 total assists in 2025.
• She is also second in the WCC and 40th nationally with an average of 10.07 assists per set.
• Munday was nearly flawless for San Diego on Saturday afternoon, totaling 51 assists (10.20 A/S), 12 digs, four block assists, three service aces, and two kills as the Toreros rallied for a 3-2 victory over Saint Mary's at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Her efforts helped USD win its 12 straight match.

• San Diego players are among the West Coast Conference's leaders in multiple statistical categories entering Thursday evening's action.

• USD's 1,206 kills and 1,133 assists this season both rank second in the league.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST OREGON STATE AND PORTLAND
Oregon State:
• The Toreros lead the all-time series, 4-2, and have won each of their last three matchups with the Beavers dating back to 2024.
• USD and OSU last met earlier this season on October 11, 2025, when San Diego overcame a first-set defeat to win 3-1 at the Jenny Craig Pavilion and seize sole possession of first place in the WCC.
• The two programs played one another just four times before Oregon State joined the WCC as an affiliate member for a two-year term ahead of the 2024 season.
• USD and OSU split their four non-conference matchups from 1985 to 2018 with two wins apiece, but the Toreros have prevailed in each of the teams' first three conference clashes since then.
• The Toreros swept the Beavers on October 5 last year in what marked the first WCC meeting between the two programs, and won 3-1 on November 16, 2024 in their first-ever trip to Corvallis.
Portland:
• San Diego leads the all-time series, 68-9.
• The Toreros have won 17 consecutive matches against the Pilots dating back to October 14, 2017, a streak that includes 14 San Diego sweeps.
• USD and Portland last met earlier this season on October 9, when the Toreros beat the Pilots in straight sets at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
• San Diego last visited the Chiles Center on November 14, 2024, when it beat Portland 3-0.
• The Toreros last lost to the Pilots on November 10, 2016, when they dropped a tough 3-2 decision at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. USD's most recent defeat at Portland was back on November 14, 2015, when it fell 3-0 to the Pilots.
