SAN DIEGO – After securing a conference record fourth straight West Coast Conference championship, the San Diego men's soccer program has earned a first round bye in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. USD will begin their postseason journey this Sunday, November 23 at 5:00 p.m PST for the right to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
The Toreros will host a second round match after earning the 9th overall seed and will take on the winner of UCLA and Grand Canyon's first round match on Wednesday, November 20.
USD completed another magical regular season where they team won 13 of their 18 matches and posted an impressive 7-1-1 mark in the always tough WCC. Playing tremendous defense throughout the season, San Diego posted nine clean sheets this season including five straight in the middle of conference play.
San Diego defended their crown with an impressive 4-2 road victory over Oregon State where they scored three late goals to defeat the Beavers and keep their conference crown.
The Toreros faced a gauntlet of a regular season schedule that featured seven teams that will be competing in the NCAA Tournament in 2025 as the WCC received three postseason bids.
