ST. GEORGE, Utah – Finishing the 2024-25 campaign strong, the San Diego women's swimming and diving team competed in the final day of the 2025 MPSF Championships on Saturday evening at the Human Performance Center.
The Toreros wrapped up a strong overall week of racing to finish second overall at the conference championships with a combined team score of 841.50 across the four days of competition.
USD had participants in the following events on Saturday: 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and the 1650 medley.
It was a complete San Diego domination in the 200 backstroke as USD formed an all Torero podium in St. George. Skylar Bruner (2:00.84) led the way in first place and was followed by Penelope Leonard (2:01.94) and Milan Bever (2:02.70)
Bruner would put together a fantastic evening individually as well as she won gold in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:09.49
