OCALA, Fla. – Earning bids to compete in the postseason, Skylar Bruner and Catherine Dueck of the San Diego women's swimming and diving team were in action this weekend as they raced at the 2025 CSCAA Championships on the east coast.
Bruner had an excellent weekend that included her setting a new school record in the 100 backstroke as she posted a time of 55.53 to cap off her stellar season.
Continuing her excellent showing in the backstroke, Bruner earned a spot in the 200 backstroke finals as she posted a time of 2:00.18 on Saturday evening to wrap up her strong weekend of racing.
Dueck competed in three total races in Florida as she put together a strong time in the 50 backstroke and in the 200 individual medley while racing in her first postseason event.
