SAN BRUNO, Calif. — USD junior
Kylie Munday has been named the WCC Setter of the Week for August 31, 2026, the West Coast Conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Munday racked up 115 assists (11.50 A/S), 33 digs (3.30 D/S), six blocks, and three service aces over the weekend in Honolulu, helping lead San Diego to a pair of wins at the 2026 Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic. She recorded a double-double with 39 assists, 12 digs, three block assists, and a service ace on Friday in a tough loss to No. 21 Baylor, added 42 more assists, 19 more digs, a block assist, and a service ace in another double-double on Saturday as USD defeated Georgia Southern, and chipped in 34 assists, two digs, two blocks, and a service ace in a victorious weekend finale against host Hawaii on Sunday night before earning All-Tournament Team recognition.
This is the fifth weekly conference honor of Munday's career. She is the reigning two-time WCC Setter of the Year (2024 and 2025) and was named the MVP of the 2026 FISU America Games in Peru earlier this summer.
