(Malibu, CA) - San Diego jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning but it was not enough to deny host Pepperdine its twelve consecutive conference victory. Pepperdine (18-17) defeated San Diego (20-19) by a score of 11-6 Friday afternoon at Eddy D. Field Stadium. Torero senior Josh Hansen had a pair of hits to extend his hitting streak to 21 games. Classmate Joey Prast added a solo homerun.
