SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's swim team was edged by UC San Diego 162-93 Saturday afternoon at Canyonview Aquatic Center. Keenan Lineback and Taylor Noonan, combined to win four events.
Keenan Lineback had a great day in the water for the Toreros, as she finished with a first place time in the 1000 Free, (1:26.12), 200 Fly (2:05.01) and 500 Free (5:06.23).
Taylor Noonan also had a great day for the Toreros, as she placed first in the 100 Free with a time of 53.00. She also second in both the 200 Free (1:53.39), and the 100 Fly (58.13).
The Toreros then took the top two finishers in the 100 Back, as Sarah Reierson came in first place with a time of 59.54, while teammate Jordan Martinko was not far behind at 1:08.02.
In the 200 Back, Morgan Scarth placed third for USD, as she posted a time of 2:14.87.
Sarah Reierson finished second in the 200 IM, coming in at 2:07.87.
The Toreros closed out the meet with the second best time in the 400 freestyle relay, as Bri Jurries, Stephanie Jones, Danielle Deiparine, and Gwen Walter finished in 3:36.78.
The Toreros now turn their focus to the MPSF championships, which begin on February 18, up at East LA College.
