WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. â€" The USD swim and dive team wrapped up day two at the Purdue Invite Saturday evening. They currently sit in eighth place.
The Toreros began the finals round with a season best time in the 200 medley relay. Missy Beall, Bri Jurries, Danielle Taylor, and Jackie Taylor finished in 1:45.49 for eighth place.
After qualifying for the 400 IM finals with a time of 4:25.9, Bri Jurries finished in eighth place in the finals to earn the Toreros 11 points.
In the next event, the 100 fly, Danielle Taylor picked up three points with a 14th place finish (55.95).
The Toreros wrapped up the day with a seventh place finish in the 800 freestyle relay. Danielle Deiparine, Danielle Taylor, Mackenna Briggs, and MK Clancy clocked in at 7:33.26 to pick up 24 points.
