SAN DIEGO - Mackenna Briggs and Alex Hubel won two individual events apiece but it was not enough for San Diego to take down UC San Diego as the Toreros fell, 145.50-137.50.

Briggs led the field in the 200 freestyle (1:54.26) and the 500 free (5:07.53), while Hubel finished first in the 100 butterfly (57.54) and 200 fly (2:06.66).

Danielle Taylor had a quality day, finishing first in the 100 free (52.95) and second in the 100 back (59.57) and the 50 free (24.41).

Anna Luckenbach picked up a first-place result in the 1000 free with a time of 10:25.68 and finished second in the 500 free (5:08.45).

The Toreros did well in both relay events and capped the day with a first-place finish in the 400 free relay. Briggs, Kailyn Evans, Sydney Wong and Hubel finished first with a time of 3:31.23.

USD's team of Taylor, Evans, Hubel and Briggs placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.41.

Elizabeth Petty represented the Toreros in the diving events and placed fifth in both the 3-meter diving (194.10) and 1-meter diving (204.07).

The meet concludes the Toreros regular season. USD heads to the MPSF Championships on Feb. 14-17.
