SAN DIEGO – Cami May registered a season-high 12 kills to lead San Diego to its fourth straight sweep Saturday as the Toreros defeated Loyola Marymount, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Lukes joined May with 12 kills to lead a strong offensive effort in which USD (11-9, 8-2 WCC) hit .344 on the day.
Addie Picha and
Roxie Wiblin contributed seven kills apiece.

The strong offensive showing allowed the Toreros to make quick work of the Lions (15-6, 5-5 WCC), 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

USD limited the Lions to a .173 hitting percentage behind seven blocks by Picha and three apiece by May and
Hannah Patrick.
Roxie Wiblin and
Kelli Barry led the team with eight digs apiece.

The Toreros started hot and never let up, hitting a match-best .412 in the first set. May and Lukes led the way with five kills apiece. Picha registered three of her seven blocks.

May continued to deliver in the second set with five more kills, while Picha found her offensive rhythm with four.
Anna Newsome dished out six assists to keep the offense clicking.

Lukes and Wiblin made sure the Toreros would win their 12th straight set by heating up in the third and recording five and four kills, respectively.
Laura Madill provided a team-best five assists to aid the effort and
Kelli Barry chipped in four assists.

The Toreros begin a two-week stretch away from home next week with trips to Gonzaga and Portland.
