SAN DIEGO – San Diego continues conference play with three matches in five days, traveling to Loyola Marymount and playing host to Portland and Gonzaga.

The Toreros (4-7, 1-1 WCC) conclude a stretch this week in which it has played 11-of-12 matches at home. USD leaves home for the first time in since the opening weekend of the season Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT when it travels to LMU (11-2, 1-1 WCC).

The Toreros return home Thursday at 7 p.m. to take on the Pilots (12-2, 0-2 WCC) and conclude the week on Saturday at noon against the Bulldogs (4-9, 1-1 WCC)

LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros went 1-1 last week, dropping a 3-2 decision against Saint Mary's and bouncing back with a 3-0 sweep of Pacific.

Roxie Wiblin and
Lauren Fuller paced the Toreros attack in the two matches, registering 26 kills (3.25 per set) and 25 kills (3.12 per set), respectively.
Megan Jacobsen played well in both matches and contributed points in crucial moments multiple times to finish the week with 19 kills.

Addie Picha showcased her versatility, leading the team with a .457 hitting percentage, racking up 20 kills, eight blocks, four digs and three assists.

Roxie Wiblin recorded a career-high 20 kills but it was not enough as USD fell to Saint Mary's, 3-2, in its WCC opener. After a slow start gave the Gaels a 1-0 lead, the Toreros seemed to take control of the match with wins in the second and third sets. However, Saint Mary's forced a fifth set and edged USD, 16-14, to secure the upset decision.

• An augmented lineup and a .408 hitting percentage helped the Toreros sweep the Tigers and notch their first win of conference play. Wiblin got the start at opposite for the Toreros and freshman
Katie Lukes was added to the mix at the outside hitter position. Lukes had 7 kills and a block in the match, while Wiblin added six kills and one block.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
• USD is 40-40 all-time against the Lions and have won each of the past four meetings and 20 of the past 22 matches. The Toreros have won seven consecutive sets against LMU entering Tuesday's contest.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PORTLAND
• The Toreros are 53-9 all-time against Portland and have won each of the past two matches. USD had a 45-match unbeaten streak against the Pilots from Oct. 16, 1992-Oct. 15, 2015.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST GONZAGA
• USD is 51-9 all-time against the Bulldogs and will enter Saturday's contest on a 45-match winning streak. The Toreros have not dropped a match against Gonzaga since Sept. 30, 1994. USD has won 12 consecutive sets against the Bulldogs entering Saturday's contest.

LEADING THE ATTACK

Lauren Fuller leads the Toreros with 126 kills and 3.07 kills per set.
Roxie Wiblin is second on the team with 117 kills (2.79 per set), followed by
Addie Picha with 94 (2.24 per set).

Laura Madill have shared the responsibility at setter and pace the team with 269 and 207 assists, respectively.
PICHA AT THE NET

Addie Picha has been stellar defensively and leads the Toreros with 57 blocks (1.36 per set). Picha has accounted for 63 percent of USD's blocks this season.
STRONG FIRST IMPRESSIONS
• The Toreros have gotten significant contributions from its freshman class this season.
Kelli Barry has been excellent at libero and leads the team with 112 digs.
Katie Lukes,
Laura Madill and
Annie Benbow have also contributed significant time in the lineup.

Kelli Barry has played well at libero and leads the team with 129 digs (3.31 per set).
Roxie Wiblin is second on the team with 98 digs.

IN THE RANKINGS
• USD dropped out of the AVCA Coaches Poll for the first time in 37 weeks. The Toreros debuted at No. 14 preseason poll and are still receiving votes in the poll. The Toreros had been ranked in the AVCA Top-25 for 36 consecutive weeks.
