Game 2
• The Toreros struggled to get going offensively in game two, scoring two runs in the fifth inning and one in the sixth. An RBI single by Adam Kerner in the eighth brought USD within two, 6-4, but the Dons put up four runs in the top half of the ninth helped by three USD errors to stall San Diego's momentum and effectively seal the victory, 10-4.

• The Dons added drama in the top of the ninth, putting runners on the corners with one out. Houghtby then made a game-saving play, coming up with a quick throw home after fielding a ball that deflected off Reyes' glove at third to get the lead runner. Travis Kuhn then shut down the USF rally with a final strikeout to clinch the victory.
