LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros went 3-1 last week defeating UC Irvine on Tuesday 4-1, before taking the weekend series against Pacific, 2-1. USD won on Friday 12-3 and on Sunday 4-2 but fell on Saturday 16-7.

• USD hit .284 (38-for-134) with four doubles, one triple, six home runs and 25 RBIs. The Toreros posted a .463 slugging percentage and .356 on-base percentage in four games.

• Ripken Reyes went 7-for-15 (.467) including a triple and two home runs. Reyes added seven runs for USD and six RBIs, posting a 1.000 slugging percentage and .556 on-base percentage. He was hit by a pitch twice to bring his season total to 27 and is currently leading the nation in that category.

• Jeff Houghtby drove in all four of San Diego's runs in a 4-1 victory over UC Irvine on Tuesday night. The senior drove in the first run of the game in the bottom of the first on a fielder's choice to score Reyes easily from third. He followed that up with a three-run home run in the third inning to give USD a commanding 4-0 lead. Nicola Mislinski earned his first win of the season, coming out of the bullpen in the fourth and Travis Kuhn notched his fourth save after striking out two of four batters faced in the ninth inning to seal the victory.

• Adam Kerner went 4-for-4 to lead a dominating offensive effort by San Diego, which earned a 12-3 victory against Pacific in the series opener on Friday night. The Toreros fell behind early after the Tigers posted run in three of the first four innings. However, USD responded by erupting for a combined nine runs in the fourth and fifth innings to take control of the game.

• San Diego could not overcome an early eight-run deficit, falling to Pacific 16-7 on Saturday evening. The Toreros fell behind early after the Tigers put up five runs in the first inning and added three more in the second, including a three-run home run and a 3-RBI double. USD did its best to chip away at the UOP lead but the Toreros were unable to keep up with a potent Pacific offense.

• San Diego rallied in the eighth inning to defeat Pacific, 4-2, in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. On a day dedicated to the seniors, they delivered—driving in all four of the Toreros' runs to overtake the Tigers and take the series 2-1.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST CALIFORNIA BAPTIST
• The Toreros lead the all-time series with the Lancers 17-0, taking the matchup earlier this season 5-4.

• After the Toreros tied the game 4-4 in the top of the fifth, the USD bullpen pitched five shutout innings including four strikeouts to hold off the Lancers offense down the stretch. San Diego capitalized on a CBU fielding error to score the go-ahead run in the sixth and secure the eventual victory for the Toreros.

PROBABLE STARTERS
• Tuesday: USD RHP Jake Miller (2-4, 4.34 ERA) vs CBU RHP Travis Booth (3-3, 2.64 ERA)
