SAN DIEGO — USD women's rowing's second and third fours took on the first four from Loyola Marymount and first, second, and third varsity fours from UC San Diego on Mission Bay on Saturday morning, batting through a series of 1250, 1000, and 500 meter pieces in a valuable opportunity for the Torero boats to work on the beginning of their race plan with quality opponents while the rest of the San Diego team was in Henderson, NV at the Pac-12 Invite.
The 1250's and 1000's each featured a start-of-the-race sequence, while the 500's focused more on the sprint at the end of the race.
No official times were taken at Saturday's event, but coxswains for the Torero boats recorded times from their GPS devices.
