SAN DIEGO – San Diego Women's Rowing senior Annika Goodwyn has been named a Division I Second Team All-American by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA), the organization announced Friday.
In addition to the All-American honor, Goodwyn earned All-WCC First Team recognition, was named a CRCA Athlete to Watch Honorable Mention earlier this season and was selected to the USD Scholar Athlete Honor Roll.
Goodwyn, who served as team captain and was voted team MVP this season, becomes one of just 14 Division I Second Team honorees nationally. She is also one of only two West Coast Conference representatives on the entire Division I All-American list.
The senior standout competed in ten races across six regattas for the Toreros in the 2025-26 season. Goodwyn helped the Torero 1V8+ at the San Diego City Championships on April 11. She raced all three rounds of the Big Ten Invitational in the 1V8+ on April 18-19, posting finishes of fourth twice and third place, then aided in USD's sweep of all three 1V8+ races at the Triton Invitational on April 25-26. She closed the regular season with a second-place finish in a dual race at USC on May 2 before placing second in the 1V8+ at the WCC Championships on May 16.
The CRCA All-American Awards recognize the most outstanding collegiate rowers and coxswains across all NCAA divisions, honoring athletes who have demonstrated elite athletic performance, leadership, consistency and dedication throughout the season.
