AZUSA, CA — The Toreros ran hard at the Bryan Clay Invitational from April 14 through April 16. The team traveled to Los Angeles on April 16 to compete in the Cal State LA Twilight Invitational.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Ethan Steiner led the Toreros and placed 22nd overall in the 5000m. Octavio Rubio set a new personal record of 1:56.63 in the 800m.

In the Cal State LA Twilight Invitational, Maddie Heller placed 1st overall in the 5km and set a new personal record of 18:08.85. San Diego placed in the top three spots with Daniella Hubble placing in 2nd and Macey Holt finishing 3rd. 

On the men's team, Tyler Ratkovich set a new school record of 60.34 and placed 8th overall in the 400m hurdles. Ratkovich also finished 14th overall in the 400m.

The Toreros will compete at UC Irvine on April 30, 2022 in Irvine, CA.
