SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The San Diego cross country team completed their season at the NCAA West Regional, hosted by Sacramento State at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento.
 
The women's team took 36th in the field of 39, while the men's team placed 29th overall in the field of 33 teams.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- The women opened the day's first race, as Daniella Hubble continued her strong season and led the Toreros by placing 166th with a time of 22:09.1.
 
	- Following closely behind Hubble was Aryam Jaimes with a time of 22:17.5, placing 180th.
 
	- Gianna Sbarbaro also stayed near her group with a time of 22:32.2, placing 195th.
 
	- The men's race followed shortly thereafter.
 
	- Russell Gokemeijer led the Toreros placing 175th with a time of 33:10.7.
 
	- Will Stefanou came in right behind at 176th with a time of 33:16.0.
 
 
TORERO TIDBITS
	- Maggie Duba, Mia Marsh, Morgan Robinson, and Lizzie McVey made their NCAA West Regional debut this year.
 
	- Anthony Lenzini, Tyler Ratkovich, and Jack DeVries made their NCAA West Regional debuts on the men's side.
 
	- Will Stefanou beat his last NCAA West Regional time by almost two minutes.
