SAN DIEGO — Head coach Jennifer Petrie on Wednesday announced the signing of four incoming freshmen who will join the San Diego volleyball team for the 2026 season.

The Toreros are set to welcome outside hitter Emma Brewer (Salem, Oregon), middle blocker Allie Dunnion (Phoenix, Arizona), middle blocker Ella Fulton (San Carlos, California), and outside hitter Ryann Knuth (Glenview, Illinois).

"San Diego volleyball is proud to welcome our 2026 class," said Petrie. "It's a class that fits our culture and will continue to raise the standard in our gym. Go Toreros!"

EMMA BREWER: Outside Hitter // Salem, Oregon // Sprague High School

• Two-time Tri-River Conference Player of the Year
• Three-time Tri-River Conference First Team All League
• 2025 All-Central Valley Conference First Team

"Emma is a locked-in competitor with true range as an attacker. She can score all over, change speeds, and finds kills in and out of system. She will immediately strengthen our outside hitter group with depth and daily competition with a mindset that fits our culture."

• Ranked as the top outside hitter in the Central Suburban League in the following categories in 2025:

  • Kills per Set (4.50)
  • Hitting percentage (.307)
  • Aces (50)
  • Digs (184)
• Was the only player in the country to hit a perfect 1.000 with double-digit kills in the 2025 varsity volleyball season
