IRVINE, Calif. — The University of San Diego women's swimming and diving program placed 16 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Big West Winter Academic All-Conference Team, the conference announced today.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must carry a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average, have completed at least one full academic year at their institution prior to the season, and have competed in at least 50 percent of the program's contests during the academic year.
USD's 16 honorees span all class years. Seven seniors earned recognition:
Ava Delaney (Business Administration),
Morgan Divita (Behavioral Neuroscience),
Skyler Horder (Neuroscience),
Chloe Howell (Psychology and Sociology),
Penelope Leonard (Marketing and Finance),
Regan Santoro (Sociology and Psychology) and
Anna Vermeulen (Finance and Marketing). Four juniors were named:
Milan Bever (Accountancy),
Skylar Bruner (Architecture and Visual Arts),
Claudia Dumais (Accountancy) and
Elise Sullivan (Behavioral Neuroscience). Five sophomores rounded out the group:
Olivia Anfinson (Biology),
Ava Craig (Neuroscience),
Bethany Garcia (Finance and International Business),
Alexandra Ostrom (Undeclared) and
Mallory Paine (EOSC and Economics). Paine posted a perfect 4.0 GPA.
