SAN DIEGO — University of San Diego Athletics announced today that youth ages 12 and under will receive free admission to all home Torero soccer, volleyball, football, women's basketball, softball and baseball games, along with select men's basketball games.
No advance reservation is required. Families purchase only the number of adult tickets they need and bring the kids along on gameday. Tickets for all upcoming events are available through

Monday's announcement aligns with an action-packed stretch on campus. Women's soccer opens the fall competition season Wednesday, Aug. 12, hosting Cal State Fullerton at 7 p.m. at Torero Stadium. Both soccer programs are in action Sunday, Aug. 23, when women's soccer meets Cal at 1 p.m. and men's soccer follows with its home opener against Liberty at 5 p.m.
Volleyball and football's season openers will be close behind. USD volleyball begins its home slate at the Jack Talmadge Classic, welcoming SMU to the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. and USC on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. Torero football hosts UC Davis on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. in a game that doubles as Multicultural Community Night, with members of the San Diego community invited to campus and local organizations set to perform.
