ST. GEORGE, Utah – Returning to the pool for the first time in the month of November, the San Diego swimming and diving team competed at day one of the 2025 Utah Tech Invite on Wednesday night.
San Diego raced in both the 200 medley relay as well as the 800 freestyle relay against numerous quality opponents to begin the meet. The Toreros had seven relay teams across the pair of events in the first day of competition.
The quartet of
Alison Diehl,
Sydney Wilson,
Milan Bever and
Ava Delaney posted the best result for USD as they came in eighth place in the 800 freestyle relay with a team time of 7:29.93.
As a team, the Toreros ranked seventh with a combined team score of 48 on Wednesday evening.
